Gumoss Leaves are obtained in Palworld by defeating and harvesting them from Gumoss Pals. Luckily for this cute Pal though, you don’t have to reduce a Gumoss to 0 HP to obtain a Gumoss Leaf. Instead, you can capture the Pal, and obtain its materials. This is good if you’re also looking to fill out your base with helpful Pals, or hunting for the experience bonus catching 10 of them gives.

Gumoss also gives a bonus to logging (harvesting trees) with its Logging Assistance passive, which will be active if you have a Gumoss in your party. A perfect Pal to take with you on gathering missions!
