Palworld is full of craftable items to help catch and defeat Pals across the open world. One of the best weapons in the early game is the Bow, allowing players to deal damage from a distance.
However, the weapon requires a significant amount of Arrows, which can be a pain to acquire for newcomers. But learning how to craft the various types of Arrows is easy,, and setting up a constant source of the item is a breeze.
In the early game, regular Arrows and a regular Bow are going to be a crucial part of your inventory as they allow you to deal damage to Pals from a safe distance, making them easier to catch. They’re also the easiest to craft, and setting up your base to produce a constant flow of Arrows while you’re away is simple.

There are currently three types of Arrows in Palworld: regular Arrows, Fire Arrows, and Poison Arrows. You’ll unlock fire Arrows at level five in the Technology menu and Poison Arrows at level eight. Here are the recipes for all three types of Arrows:
- Arrows x3 - 1 Wood, 1 Stone
- Fire Arrows x5 - 5 Wood, 5 Stone, 1 Flame Organ
- Poison Arrows x5 - 5 Wood, 5 Stone, 1 Venom Gland
To start, you’ll need to find at least one Stone and one Wood to create your first bundle of arrows. You can find these items throughout the open world. You’ll also need to reach level three before you can craft these items, but this should take less than an hour of game time.
A Primitive Workbench is also required to craft a Bow and Arrows, which is the first option available in the Technology menu. Once you have the required materials, select the Arrow recipe on the bench and craft yourself a bundle of deadly projectiles. Don’t worry about constantly crafting arrows, as you can use your Pals and Production stations to farm arrows while you explore the world.
You need a Stone Pit, a Logging Site, a Primitive Workbench, and a Pal with the Handiwork Skill to farm arrows in Palworld. A Pal with the appropriate skills to work at each Production station is also required, which should be achievable in the tutorial section of Palworld.
Once all Production stations are running, queue the maximum amount of Arrows at the workbench and your Pal with their Handiwork Skill will handle the rest. They’ll create as many Arrows as possible with the available resources at your base, which will be stored in the Production stations.
How to craft Fire and Poison Arrows in Palworld
The higher-tier Arrows require a bit more work to automate, as you’ll need items that came from capturing or defeating Pals. For Fire Arrows, a constant source of Fire Organs is needed, and Poison Arrows require a source of Venom Glands.
Fire Organs can be acquired by capturing or defeating Foxparks. Venom Glands drop from Daedream’s, so keep an eye out for these purple creatures that glow at night.
Consider automating the production of Fire and Poison Arrows towards the midgame. Also, don’t plan on using Arrows throughout your entire playthrough, as you’ll encounter better weapons with much more damage later on.
