While Honey isn't exactly rare in Palworld, you may not know where to find it or how to most efficiently farm the ingredient. It quickly becomes necessary as you advance and level up, especially if you're looking to complete your Paldeck fully via unique eggs from your Breeding Farm.
Whether you're wondering how to get Honey in Palworld to make Cake for breeding or need it as a go-to source of food while on the go, we've got you covered here with an in-depth guide on its location and the best method of farming the ingredient.
Some Palworld resources and where to find them:
Honey Location in Palworld
Honey doesn't have a location itself, but the Pals that drop the useful ingredient do. You can gather Honey from Beegarde, Cinnamoth, Elizabee, and Warsect Pals whenever you capture or kill them. You'll want to target Cinnamoth Pals in the Moonless Shore area if you're looking to quickly grind out Honey drops, as they are generally lower level than the others and come with less complicated combat mechanics.

For instance, Beegarde Pals are difficult to kill as they explode and self-destruct dealing a ridiculous amount of damage, much like the infamously annoying Tocotoco does. Elizabee Pals are higher-level and often come with a group of surrounding Beegardes, making them an even more challenging foe. The Warsect isn't an easy pick for Honey either, as it's only found in the No. 2 Wildlife Sanctuary (-670, -120) and the Sealed Realm of the Stalwart Dungeon (161, -223).
How to Farm Honey in Palworld
If you want a more efficient way to get your hands on some sweet Palworld honey, you're best off farming Pals at your base for a regular income of the sticky ingredient. Even though Cinnamoth, Elizabee, and Warsect Pals all drop Honey when they're captured or killed in the wild, only Beegarde has the necessary Farming skill to work at your base's Ranch and produce the Cake ingredient.

This does unfortunately mean that you'll have to take the self-destructing Pal on to capture it, so we recommend gearing up with plenty of Pal Spheres and bringing a Pal that's effective against grass-type moves. You'd ideally want a team of Pals featuring plenty of fire element abilities. Avoid ground-type Pals as Beegarde is strong against them. For a better catch rate, get Beegarde's health as low as possible without killing it, and then toss a Pal Sphere its way.

Once you have a Beegarde (or few), make sure you have a Ranch ready to house the honey-producing Pal for work at your base. You'll need 30 Fiber, 20 Stone, and 50 Wood to build one Ranch if you haven't yet. Then, all you need to do is pick your Beegarde up and chuck it into the fenced-off area. Honey should regularly drop inside the Ranch afterward.
