How to find or make Fiber in Palworld
At the start of the game, the only way to gather Fiber is from trees. To do this, you’ll have to use an axe or other tool to chop trees. However, Fiber doesn’t have a guaranteed drop rate like Wood. There’s no official numbers posted, but testing indicates about one in every 10 swings of an Axe will produce one Fiber from a tree. This means you can somewhat reliably create Fiber very early in the game.

Later on, you’ll unlock the Crusher. The Crusher is your pathway to consistent Fiber creation. You’ll need to be level eight and have the Crusher unlocked on the Technology tree for two Technology Points.

The Crusher requires 50 Wood, 20 Stone, and 10 Paldium Fragments. Once built, you can crush a variety of materials. In the Crusher, one Wood becomes two strands of Fiber. You'll need a Pal with the Watering ability to run it. This is a pretty efficient use of materials, so worth doing.
What’s Fiber used for in Palworld?
Fiber is used in the construction of numerous tools, items, and structures in Palworld. Primarily, you’ll need it for lower level tools, bows, and other items such as this. Later on, Fiber will become less of a core material as you expand into more complex structures and items.
