Collect Wood from the ground
The easiest way to get Wood when you boot up a new world is by collecting Wood on the ground. You can find fallen branches in almost every area of the world, which are easy to spot. However, it can be tedious using this strategy as your primary Wood-collecting method, so consider building an Axe as soon as possible.
Cut down trees
Cutting down trees is easy in Palworld, as you just hit the nearest tree and collect the resource. You can do this with your bare hands, although using an Axe will yield more Wood at a higher rate. The Primitive Workbench is needed to craft a Stone Axe, so make this your first priority when jumping into Palworld.
