Bunny Day is upon us, and with it comes an unbelievable, untenable amount of eggs and a horrifying rabbit. Everything you’ve ever known is now an egg. Fish? No, they’re Water Eggs now. Rocks? No, Stone Eggs. The pristine airspace above your island has been invaded by hundreds of unauthorized packages that contain, you guessed it, Sky Eggs.

The Six Types of Eggs – Animal Crossing Bunny Day
Zipper unleashed six different types of eggs onto our islands overnight on April 1st. They are:
- Stone Egg
- Water Egg
- Wood Egg
- Sky Egg
- Leaf Egg
- Earth Egg
The name of each egg is tied to the way you can collect it, so:
- Stone Eggs come from hitting rocks.
- Water Eggs come from the water (and look like fish).
- Wood Eggs come from hitting trees with axes.
- Sky Eggs come from flying packages you shoot down with a slingshot (they have rainbow balloons).
- Leaf Eggs come from trees (and look like fruit).
- Earth Eggs come from the ground (and look like items in the ground).
What To Do With The Eggs In Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Each egg has its own set of recipes attached to it, including an outfit for your villager that makes them look like a fucked up Billy Hatcher. You can find recipes a few ways — sometimes, your character will have an idea for a recipe after collecting a certain number of eggs. Other times, you’ll receive new egg recipes in messages in bottles, or by shooting down airborne packages. Your villagers can also give you new egg recipes. You should not sell them and you should not eat them. The return on investment for selling eggs is not worth it, and you should quicker eat your native fruit than any variety of egg. Your villager also eats the eggs shell first, which is inadvisable.
Making all of the recipes (there are a total of 43 recipes and you can find the full item list here) will require you to collect many of each different kind of egg. The Bunny Day Bag and the Bunny Day Crown recipes can only be given to you by your villagers though. Zipper will give you a bed recipe on the first day you speak to him.
Who Is Zipper? – Animal Crossing
Zipper is a guy in a rabbit suit. The big zipper on the back is functional, and a man climbs into and out of the suit. He is not a corporeal being from the Animal Crossing world, but he is a man from Human Earth who has escaped into Animal Crossing: New Horizons. He does not adhere to the rules that we, as a society have constructed. No bars can hold him. You must be vigilant at all times, keeping a watchful eye on you and your kin.
Where Is Zipper?
Oh, don’t worry. He’ll find you. Just go inside of a building, or log off for a couple of minutes. When you come back, he’ll be there.
