When does The Dawning 2019 End?
The Dawning runs from December 17 to January 14.
Dawning 2019 Deliver Quest Guide – Spreading Cheer
Here are all the steps for this year’s main quest. Ingredients, how to obtain them, and recipes can all be found after this section!
Step 1: Deliver Gifts to Drifter and Vance
To get this year’s Dawning sparrow, you need to complete the following:
- 1 Dark Chocolate Mote
- 1 Fractal Roll
- 50 Total Gifts Baked
Bake holiday gifts, then deliver them to the Drifter and Brother Vance. Available only during the Dawning 2019.

Step 2: Deliver Gifts to Saint-14 and Spider
You can upgrade your Alpine Dash Sparrow by completing two other gift deliveries. The first of which is for Saint-14 on the Tower and Spider on Tangled Shore.
- 1 Lavender Ribbon
- 1 Candy Dead Ghosts
- 150 Total Gifts Baked
Upgrade the Alpine Dash Sparrow by baking holiday gifts and delivering them to Saint-14 and Spider. Available only during the Dawning 2019.

Step 3: Deliver Gifts to Eris and Calus
Now to give some delectable food to Eris and Calus.
- 1 Fried Sha-dough
- 1 Ascendant Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
- 200 Gifts Baked

Step 4: Deliver Gifts to Amanda and Benedict
One more step to go! Obviously the total gifts baked is much more difficult than the two recipes. Keep grinding!

How to Get The Dawning Ingredients
While we do know you will still be baking, we do not know if recipes or ingredients have changed since last year. Here’s everything from The Dawning 2018.
The first ingredient is a random drop from certain enemy types.
- Vex Milk: Kill Vex
- Ether Cane: Kill Fallen
- Cabal Oil: Kill Cabal
- Chitin Powder: Kill Hive
- Taken Butter: Kill Taken
- Dark Ether Cane: Kill Scorn
The second ingredient is found by killing enemies in specific ways.
- Delicious Explosion: Kills with grenades, rocket launchers, or grenade launchers
- Sharp Flavor: Kills with swords
- Impossible Heat: Kills with Solar damage
- Electric Flavor: Kills with Arc damage
- Null Taste: Kills with Void damage
- Flash of Inspiration: Generate Orbs of Light
- Personal Touch: Kills with melee
- Perfect Taste: Kills with precision damage
- Bullet Spray: Kills with submachine guns, light machine guns, or auto rifles
- Pinch of Light: Pick up Orbs of Light.
