Season of the Wish is finally here and it came with a significant shakeup for the sandbox. From abilities to Exotic armor, there were many buffs and nerfs across the board. As a result, builds that were strong and viable one or two seasons ago, may not perform the same way they used to. To help players find their bearings in PVE and PVP, we have a roundup of builds that are both viable and reflect the best of what you can do in the current sandbox.
About the Build Creators
These builds are sourced from some of the best and most popular content creators across various platforms like YouTube, Reddit and X (Previously known as Twitter).
Stasis Warlock Builds
Stasis Warlocks have one of the most robust toolkits in the game. They can make Stasis Turrets thanks to the Bleak Watcher aspect and chain freeze enemies with Iceflare Bolts. This makes them essential for ad clear scenarios as they can ensure enemies are always frozen and give their fireteams some breathing room. Stasis can take care of two kinds of Champions simply by its slow effects, which makes it incredibly strong for endgame PVE.
Stasis Warlock with Unraveling Rounds
This build centers around using a classic Stasis Warlock setup with Osmiomancy Gloves, which grant two charges of enhanced Coldsnap grenades, and the Quicksilver Storm exotic, alongside the seasonal mods Unravelling Orbs and Horde Shuttle. Unravelling Orbs give Unravelling Rounds to any equipped Strand Weapon without being on the Strand subclass. Horde Shuttle can spawn threadlings upon damaging Unraveled Targets. Since Quicksilver Storm with the Catalyst is Strand, it is now possible to have the best of both darkness subclasses in one build that can stand up to anything you throw at it. This build comes from YouTube Content Creator, RestAssured.

Stasis Warlock with Solar Synergy
This season’s Artifact mods have some very strong options that allow players to utilize Solar abilities like Scorch and Radiant without having to be on Solar at all. What better way to use those mods than to combine ice with fire?
We’re using the same Osmiomancy Gloves setup as the last build, but the seasonal mods are instead Flint Striker, Kindling Trigger, and Torch. Flint Striker allows players to be Radiant upon getting rapid solar weapon final blows or solar weapon precision hits. Kindling Trigger applies scorched to unscorched enemies. Torch, the mod that ties this build together, allows players who are Radiant to do bonus damage to enemies with Strand and Stasis debuffs. This build comes from YouTube Content Creator, Duddits II.

Strand Warlock Builds
Strand Warlocks are still finding their footing when it comes to the meta but even then, they are very useful. Despite their support nature, Strand Warlocks can be used to crank out some serious DPS when the time comes for it.
Scorch + Suspend Strand Warlock
This build is another build that combines light and darkness, this time with Strand and Solar. Consuming a Shackle Grenade via Mindspun Invocation will allow players to send a suspending burst across waves of enemies which combines well with seasonal mods like Kindling Striker and Torch. Kindling Flame makes players Radiant and Torch adds bonus damage to enemies affected by Strand debuffs. The Exotic of choice for this build is Dragon’s Breath alongside the Dawn Chorus helmet, enhancing Scorch Damage and allows this build to be even more fiery. This is a very clever build, and it comes from YouTube Content Creator, Duddits II.

- Type: PVE
- Subclass: Strand
- Excels At: Crowd Control, Add Clear

Solar Warlock Builds
Solar Warlocks are one of the most powerful subclasses in the game that can fulfill both damage and support roles with a single super. They can ignite rooms with grenades and constantly heal while doing so. Solar Warlocks are so strong that the very first Solo Flawless Raid in Destiny 2 was completed by Solar Warlocks before any other subclass. Truly a fiery threat to be reckoned with.
Solo Solar Warlock for Difficult Content
This is a simple Solar Build that can do everything you’d want. Scorch and Ignite enemies, stun Barrier and Unstoppable Champions at the same time, and have constant uptime of Radiant and Restoration. This setup can work across any solar subclass but it works best on a Solar Warlock with Dawn Chorus. While Dawn Chorus buffs Daybreak, the other Warlock Super, it can be used with Well of Radiance too, so you don’t need to worry about switching Supers. This build comes from Youtube Content Creator Esoterickk.
