Season of the Wish is upon us in Destiny 2! With it comes a slew of new weapons to collect and naturally that means everyone is itching to get their hands on the best possible roll. But early on it can be really hard to know what will perform the best. In this guide, we tell you how to obtain Lethophobia and make some early god roll recommendations for the latest Destiny 2 Bow.
We’ve teamed up with Stardust, one of the people behind Clarity - D2 Research, a Destiny 2 project which provides highly trusted explanations of perks, mods, and more for websites like Destiny Item Manager (DIM), Light.gg, Foundry, and more! With his extensive knowledge and experience studying weapons in depth for thousands of hours and keeping a close eye on the meta at all times at every level, he’s more than qualified to make these selections.
How to Obtain
Lethophobia drops from Season of the Wish activities. That means you'll primarily be getting it from the new Riven's Lair activity or through Season of the Wish Engrams.
About Lethophobia
Lethophobia is a Legendary Void Bow of the Lightweight Frame archetype. This means it draws more quickly and lets you move faster when it's equipped. It sports the Dragon's Vengeance Origin Trait which activates when an ally dies or you reach critical health. When that happens Lethophobia's magazine refills and it gains a bonus to range, charge rate, and handling.

Lethophobia PVE God Roll
Our recommended PVE god roll for this new Void Bow is below. It's worth mentioning that a few perk selections are only god rolls when you're sporting a Void subclass and have access to a Void debuff application.
Best PVE Perks by Column Number
- Polymer String
- Compact Arrow Shaft or Fiberglass Arrow Shaft
- Impulse Amplifier or Enlightened Action (or Repulsor Brace but only with reliable Void debuff application on hand)
- Explosive Head or Golden Tricorn (only when on Void)
- Draw Time MW

Lethophobia Answer PVP God Roll
When it comes to PVP, your perk selection does depend somewhat on your ability to hit crits with Bow shots when starting each fight. If you want something solid all around, choose Explosive Head, but if you have the skills, Disruption Break with Compact Arrow Shaft is likely better.
Best PVP Perks by Column Number
- Polymer String
- Fiberglass Arrow Shaft or Compact Arrow Shaft
- Impulse Amplifier or Successful Warmup
- Probably Explosive Head?
- Alternatively, go for Disruption Break with Compact Arrow Shaft if you’re bow-swapping and can hit a crit with a bow reliably to start the engagement.
- Draw Time MW
