Savathun is finally here, which means Destiny 2’s highly anticipated expansion has been released. The Witch Queen has players finally confront one of the franchise’s most popular villains in her own throne world. Not only is this DLC introducing a new story, but there are also a ton of new weapons, armor, exotics, consumables, and activities for players to participate in. The Witch Queen also marks the release of the Void 3.0 update, which drastically reworks the void subclass and new exotics to build around.
With the Vow of the Disciple raid completed, the new exotic glaive quest has finally been unlocked. Called “Report: Reverse-Lure,” this quest is only available once you’ve completed all other evidence board Report missions. This may take a bit of time since one of them requires you to craft two Wellspring weapons which have a pretty low droprate. Once you obtain the Report: Reverse-Lure, here’s how to complete the quest and unlock either the Edge of Action, Edge of Intent, or Edge of Concurrence.
Report: Reverse-Lure Quest
Place the Osmic Fragment
For the first step, you will need to go to the Queen’s Bailey patrol zone in the Throne World. Open up your Throne World destination map and select the exotic quest market in the Queen’s Bailey. This will give you a waypoint on your HUD, making the chalice you need to drop the Osmic Fragment much easier to find. Just approach the chalice and drop the crystal to complete this step.
Observe the Lucent Brood
Don’t go to orbit just yet! From the Chalice, look to your left towards the statue with multiple lanterns around it. You should see a Deepsight orb along the grass. Activating this will cause some platforms to spawn, allowing you to climb up to the wall above. Now run along the ramparts to one of the large circular plates. Do not shoot the Hive that spawn, as they need to go look at the Osmic Fragment you placed down.
Follow and Kill the Lucent Brood
Now jump down and kill the enemies around the chalice. Once they’re dead, follown your exotic quest market into Savathun’s palace where you first fought her doppleganger during the Arrival campaign mission. Inside the room will be a ton of Hive, including a Hive Guardian. These enemies don’t hit that hard, so you shouldn’t have any trouble killing them. If you have your Super, just use it to melt the Hive Guardian and don’t forget its Ghost! After destorying the Hive Guardian, pick up the Osmic Fragment on the ground and head back to the Enclave.
Craft Your Glaive
When you arrive in the Enclave, go to the evidence board to gain the pattern for the exotic glaives. Head down into the crafter and Shape one of the three exotic glaives for absolutely nothing. You won’t need any materials to make this weapon the first tiem, however, it can be leveld up to unlock additional perks which will cost materials to reshape. After selecting all the perks you want, just finalize the shape of your glaive to add it to your character!
How to Get the Second and Third Exotic Glaives
Unfortunately, you cannot repeat this quest on your other characters. Since each glaive is class specific, you will need to first go onto whatever character doesn’t have their respective exotic glaive and complete The Witch Queen campaign. After completing it, you will need to grind the Wellspring activity which has a chance to randomly reward you the exotic glaive you’re missing. Meaning, if you need the Hunter’s Edge of Concurrence and have already unlocked an exotic glaive via the quest on another character, you will need to grind the Wellspring activity on your Hunter until this exotic glaive drops.
It’s not ideal, but this is the only way to obtain the other two glaives so get ready to spend some more time in this post-campaign activity.
