The Festival of the Lost is back once again in Destiny 2 and with it comes trick-or-treating in the form of Eerie Engrams. Eerie Engrams make a debut in this year’s Halloween-themed festival, bringing tons of weapons and armor pieces for you to collect.
How to get Eerie Engrams
To get Eerie Engrams, you will have to complete the Haunted Sectors activity during the Festival of the Lost. For the first time, a Legend version of the Haunted Sectors is available for Guardians to undertake and these drop more Eerie Engrams than the classic version. Once you have collected Eerie Engrams, you can treat yourself with rewards through Hocus Focusing, the new Festival of the Lost gear focusing.
Each Exotic Engram is associated with reward categories, which are Exotic arms, legs, helmet, and chest. Legendary weapon Eerie Engrams are a separate category, and all Festival weapons are available for a higher Candy cost. Also, you can get randomized gear depending on the type of Eerie Engram you open. Another random drop in the Festival of the Lost is a new sleek Memento, a one-time consumable that alters a weapon’s appearance when shaping them at the Enclave.
You can target specific Exotic armor pieces from previous Destiny 2 expansions and Festival of the Lost weapons by using Hocus Focusing, which will cost an Eerie Engram and Candy. Keep in mind, if you choose to open Eerie Engrams or use them for Hocus Focusing, you will only get armor pieces pertaining to the class you are playing on.
