PSA: You Can Infinitely Farm for Vex Mythoclast This Week in Destiny 2

Nows the time to farm for Vex Mythoclast and show RNGesus who's the boss.

Attention Guardians, if you don’t have Vex Mythoclast now is the time to hunt for one! Following this week’s reset, the Vault of Glass raid is the new weekly Destiny 2 raid. This means it not only drops a Pinnacle reward at the end, but players can farm the end encounter for this exotic fusion rifle. Given the low drop rate for this weapon, I strongly recommend spending some time grinding for this gun. Given the Atheon encounter is incredibly easy, a solid team can easily blow through this fight in a matter of minutes.

Keep in mind that I have not been able to personally verify that this farm is working. However, there have been multiple sources from popular community members like Gunny and tons of other players on social media. Given you could farm for Eyes of Tomorrow last week when Deep Stone Crypt was the weekly raid, it makes sense that Vex Mythoclast would be available.

Just remember, you will need to either find someone with an Atheon checkpoint or just go through the raid until you reach this boss. Then start the encounter and wipe. Once everyone respawns, have one member of your fireteam leave and rejoin on a different character. Start the Atheon fight a second time and wipe. Now either stay on this character or go back to the original one and run the battle. So long as you ensure one of your other classes has the checkpoint you can infinitely farm this encounter.

Additionally, all of the raid challenges are available which means you can farm for the Timelost variants of all the guns if you do the Master raid. This can be a fantastic way to hunt down that god roll of Fatebringer if you’ve needed one since the Master version of the Templar is remarkably easy. So if you’re missing out on any gear from the Vault of Glass, this is the best time to hunt for these weapons!
