Until December 20 at 11 AM EST, this year’s Destiny 2: Legacy Collection is completely free to own on the Epic Games Store. Originally released in February when the new Lightfall expansion launched, the collection includes the three previous expansions: Shadowkeep, Beyond Light, and The Witch Queen.
These represent some of the best narratives in the history of the franchise, with The Witch Queen as the real high point. Beyond Light also brought the Stasis element to the game, granting players icy powers associated with the Darkness. Normally, the collection costs $59.99 across all platforms. While the deal doesn’t extend to consoles, it’s still one of the most valuable freebies that Epic Games Store has put on offer in quite some time.
Whether you’re a lapsed Destiny 2 player considering getting back into the game or a total newcomer looking to give Bungie’s beloved MMO shooter a try, there’s really no reason not to claim the bundle. Even if you don’t have a PC capable of running the game currently, you can still add it to your library permanently.
