Destiny 2 Hung Jury Guide - How to Get It & God Roll

Judge, Jury, and Executioner

Destiny 2 Season of the Splicer is here and it’s time to elevate your fashion game. Along with new weapons, a 6 player activity, armor, story missions, and season pass, the heavily requested armor transmogrification feature is finally arriving. In this season, players will team up with the Fallen Captain Mithrax to stop the Vex from plunging Earth into total darkness. Of course, the main thing you care about is getting all that sweet, sweet loot. Season 14 introduces a bunch of new weapons along with some old favorites for players to hunt down. One of these is the beloved Hung Jury SR4, which is a Kinetic scout rifle that can roll with Firefly.

How to Get the Hung Jury SR4

The Hung Jury is tied to the Nightfall playlist activity. Every week, one of three weapons will be available for players to hunt down. Their order never changes, so you can expect Hung Jury to appear every three weeks after Plug One.1. The difficulty you play the Nightfall on will determine the firearm’s drop rate. For example, you will have a much harder time grinding for Hung Jury at 1240 Power than the 1310 or 1340 Power Nightfalls.

Also, while both Legend and Master state the Nightfall weapon is Common, it still drops far more frequently at 1340. If you have a chance, I strongly suggest only grinding the Legend and Master versions of this Nightfall, as this will give you a more consistent offering ofHung Jury. As for the Adept version this will only be available through Grandmaster Nightfalls when the weapon is in rotation.

Hung Jury SR4 God Rolls

Hung Jury SR4 PVE God Roll

  • Corkscrew Rifling
  • Tactical Mag or Appended Mag
  • Rapid Hit or Subsistence
  • Firefly or One For All

If you’ve been following any Destiny 2 content creators then you probably already know what roll everyone’s excited for. In the first slot, you’ll want Corkscrew Rifling to give you a minor boost to multiple stats, while Tactical Magh and Appended Mag give us more ammo in the magazine. I personally prefer Tactical Mag, as it also increases our stability. For your primary perks, you will really want to hunt down a roll with either Subsistence or Rapid Hit. The former is terrific since it can keep you firing as you mow down hordes of enemies without ever needing to reload. Inversely, Rapid Hit is just such a consistent and best-in-slot perk that synergizes beautifully with Firefly. Both are great, so it comes down to what you’re specifically looking for.

Of course, all the excitement about Hung Jury revolves around the Firefly perk. Despite being Kinetic, this perk will cause enemies to explode into a ball of Solar damage when killed with a precision hit. This makes it especially deadly, allowing you to wipe our hordes of enemies with only a few bullets. If raw damage is all you care about then you’ll want One For All instead.

Hung Jury SR4 PVP God Roll

  • Hammer-Forged Rifling or Smallbore
  • Accurized Rounds
  • Rapid Hit or Moving Target
  • Explosive Payload

The PVP roll is a little more straightforward. For the barrel, you’ll want to use Hammer-Forged Rifling or Smallbore to increase this weapon’s range. Given Dead Man’s Tale is currently the best scout rifle in PVP, you’ll want to ensure you can compete with it in distance battles. Helping us out is Accurized Rounds, which is just another great boost to Hung Jury’s range stat. As for our primary perks, Rapid Hit or Moving Target are terrific options. Rapid Hit gives us a much quicker reload speed if you can hit multiple precision shots while Moving Target gives us better target acquisition and movement speed. Finally, Explosive Payload is our last primary perk. We are mainly using this to cause our targets to flinch during duels, ensuring we can secure kills  – even in an unadvantageous fight.
