Xingqiu (Chinese: 行秋 Xíngqiū) is a playable Hydro character in Genshin Impact.

Xingqiu is the younger son of the Guild Manager of the Feiyun Commerce Guild, a prominent organization in Liyue, and claims to practice the arts of the Guhua Clan. As an enthusiastic reader, he aspires to personify chivalry akin to the heroes in his beloved books, yet this contrasts with his tendency for playful trouble.

Off-field DPS

Xingqiu’s most common playstyle that best utilizes his kit. Off-field DPS Xingqiu enables reactions through consistent Hydro application while also contributing respectable personal damage.

On-field DPS 

On-field DPS Xingqiu is usually a playstyle chosen due to personal preference. Otherwise, teams using on-field DPS Xingqiu have a lower damage ceiling compared to teams where he is an off-field DPS.

Xingqiu’s Elemental Burst is the key to his power, so it should be leveled first.  After this comes his Elemental Skill, which does a good amount of damage and shouldn’t be neglected. His Normal Attack Talent can be ignored since it contributes minimally to his total damage output, even when Xingqiu is active on the field.

For talents you want to prioritize:

1. Guhua Sword: Raincutter (Elemental Burst)
2. Guhua Sword: Fatal Rainscreen (Elemental  Skill)
3. Guhua Style (Normal Attack)

Whenever Xingqiu uses his Burst, the effect of 4-piece Noblesse Oblige gives ATK% buff to everyone in the team. Only use a complete Noblesse Oblige if you want him to be a buffer and if you do not have another character that uses it in the team since the buff does not stack.

1. Emblem of Severed Fate (4-Piece)
2. Noblesse Oblige (4-Piece)
3. Noblesse Oblige (2-Piece) + Heart of Depth (2-Piece)

For attributes you want:

1. ER% or ATK% on Sands
2. Hydro DMG Bonus% on Goblet
3. CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG on Circlet

Sub stat priority is CRIT Rate > CRIT DMG > Energy Recharge > ATK%

We do, however, recommend you have at least 220%-250% Energy Recharge without Sacrificial

Sacrificial Sword is the best weapon for Xingqiu as it can significantly extend the uptime of his Burst, especially when the passive has been triggered. But if you can already keep his Burst's uptime without using Sacrificial Sword, it is recommended to choose another option in the list.

2. Mistsplitter Reforged (CRIT DMG %)
3. Primodial Jade Cutter (CRIT Rate %)

If you don't have the optimal weapons, these are solid options as well.

1. Favonius Sword (Energy Recharge %)
2. Sapwood Blade (Energy Recharge %)
3. Skyrider Sword (Energy Recharge %)
