Kazuha is a 5-Star Anemo Sword character in Genshin Impact. Learn about Kazuha's build, best weapons, best artifacts, talent priority, skills, teams, and our rating of the character in this build guide!

Genshin Impact's first Inazuma character is Kaedehara Kazuha, a wandering samurai who teams up with Beidou. Kazuha is an Anemo five-star sword user who can be used as a great support character, especially when he uses his elemental blasts.
Like all characters, how much damage or support he can provide will depend on how well you build him up. Luckily, Genshin already has quite a set of artifacts and weapons that perfectly match Kazuha's playstyle. The guide below will give you the best Kazuha build.

Off-field or Quickswap Support
Kazuha is primarily an off-field or quickswap support who buffs his Elemental DPS teammates through his Ascension 4 Passive and 4pc Viridescent Venerer RES Shred.
Quickswap DPS (4-piece Thundering Fury)
Kazuha can hold 4pc Thundering Fury (4TF) in an Aggravate or Electro-Charged team and deal tremendous amounts of damage as a quickswap DPS through multiple Skill uses.
On-field DPS (Constellation 6)
Kazuha can be played as an on-field Anemo DPS at C6. Due to the Anemo Infusion on his Normal Attacks, he can attack on-field and trigger Swirl reactions.
For talents you want to prioritize:
- Kazuha Slash (Elemental Burst)
- Chihayaburu (Elemental Skill)
- Garyu Bladework (Normal Attack)
This build will not work without a full set of Viridescent Venerer. This is due to the 4-piece effect providing a 60% increase for Swirl DMG and the RES reduction of 40% to enemies affected by Swirl.
The other options are probably most valuable in the C0/C1 Kazuha variant, as without Sucrose or C2 Kazuha, you'll lack EM. Instructor is a 3/4-star special set that increases the team's EM by 120 when its wielder triggers an elemental reaction.

- Instructor ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ (4-Piece)
For attributes you want:
- Elemental Mastery on Sands
- Elemental Mastery on Goblet
- Elemental Mastery on Circlet
Sub stat priority is Energy Recharge > Elemental Mastery > Crit (Favonius)
We do, however, recommend you have at least 150%-200% Energy Recharge at a minimum.
For Elemental Mastery recommendation 600 -1000.
EM Sands: Run an EM Sands with Favonius Sword, Xiphos’ Moonlight, or Sacrificial Sword.
ER Sands: Run an ER Sands with Iron Sting, Toukabou Shigure, or other Swords, unless you can meet ER requirements through substats alone.
On Favonius Sword, Kazuha benefits from CRIT Rate. However, he generally doesn’t need more than 20% CRIT Rate to consistently trigger its particle generation.
When using Kazuha as a support, increasing his Elemental Mastery is a requirement to maximize his buffing capabilities. Weapons with Elemental Mastery is greatly recommended because of this. If you do not have an Elemental Mastery weapon available, Energy Recharge weapons like Sacrificial Sword and Favonious Sword can also be used.
- Freedom-Sworn (Elemental Mastery)
- Xipho's Moonlight (Elemental Mastery)
- Toukabou Shigure (Elemental Mastery)
If you don't have the optimal weapons, these are solid options as well.
- Iron Sting (Elemental Mastery)
- Sacrificial Sword (Energy Recharge %)
- Favonius Sword (Energy Recharge %)
There are six different types of teams we recommend for Kazuha.
- Aggravate & Spread Teams
- 4TF Kazuha (Aggravate)
- Reverse Vape
- Freeze Team
- Electro-Charged
- Mono Element & Hypercarry (Mono Pyro - Mono Cryo - Mono Hydro - Electro Hyper Carry)
