FFXIV Adds Dance Pole Furnishing for All Your Roleplay Needs

It's gotta stay behind closed doors however.

Back in October ahead of the release of Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker, Square Enix updated its terms of service. Part of the change was to address using the Party Finder system for real-money trades. At the same time, Square Enix assured players that in-game roleplay events would not fall afoul of the new rules. Worry not, Balmung.

Today, it feels like Square Enix is actually leaning harder into its roleplay community. With the release of Patch 6.05, there’s now a brand-new furnishing: the Dance Pole. The item is available from the Gold Saucer Attendant (Gold Saucer – X: 5.2, Y: 6.6). You can find it in the second Prize Exchange menu under the “Others” tab for a clean 2,000 MGP.

“Even seasoned adventurers may find that sensually swiveling upon this pole proves a challenge to their balance and brawn alike,” says the item’s description.

Those with RP clubs can now add this new furnishing for delightful entertainment. Sadly, you cannot interact with the Dance Pole, according to some players on Reddit who have already picked up the item. Still, I’m sure the hardcore roleplayers and Gposers already have some great ideas for the new furnishing.

We’re covering everything Patch 6.05 this week. You can read up on all of the highlights from the patch notes and the primary changes to a few jobs. We also have the details for the new Heavensturn seasonal event, where you can snag a swank tiger helmet to celebrate the Year of the Tiger.
