The latest FFXIV update added a host of new crafting materials to uncover — including the oddly named Raw Eblan Danburite. There’s a solid clue to its basic location right in that name itself, actually, but we’ve got some details on exactly when and where to find this new Legendary material. Crafters will need it for several new pieces of Item Level 590 gear in Patch 6.1, so it’s as good a time as any to start harvesting the stuff quickly!
The aforementioned clue is the word “Eblan.” This matches another mining material: Eblan Alumen (a crafting material used in all sorts of leather). Raw Eblan Danburite, like Eblan Alumen, can be found in Garlemald. This is one of the earliest zones you can visit in the Endwalker Main Scenario Quest, so it’s actually not hard to gather. That’s if you meet all the necessary item, level, and gear requirements of course.
While you’re at it, we’ve also got guides to the other new crafting materials introduced in Patch 6.1 alongside Raw Eblan Danburite. You can find them at the following links!

You need a certain unlockable item to even see the Legendary Nodes in FFXIV. The mining spot that produces Raw Eblan Danburite. The item in question is a “Tome of Geological Folklore – Ilsabard and the Sea of Stars.” You can purchase it from the Splendors Vendor NPC in Radz-at-Han (X: 11.3, Y: 9.1) for 16 copies of “Regional Folklore Trader’s Token C.” This wordy item can, in turn, be purchased right next to the Splendors Vendor at the Scrip Exchange NPC (X: 11.5, Y: 9.4). She sells each token for 100 White Gatherers’ Scrips. Just check the shop category “Gatherers’ Scrip (Materials/Misc.)” and the subcategory “White Scrip Exchange (Lv. 90 Bait/Tokens).” Once you have 16 tokens in hand you can acquire the tome. Use it from your inventory to finally gain access to the Legendary mining node in Garlemald.
The Legendary node is located Cerulea Ingens: the southeasternmost section of Garlemald. It’s a fairly straight shot from Camp Broken Glass (X: 31.2, Y: 34.8) that requires a flying mount to reach. It should also appear on your map if you have the skill Truth of Mountains (which any Level 90 Miner should have active by default). Though this requires you to be around at the right time. Raw Eblan Danburite appears at two different periods during each in-game day.
- 00:00-02:00 / 12 a.m. to 2 a.m. Eorzea Time
- 12:00-14:00 / 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Eorzea Time
That means you have two chances every 24 virtual hours. That may seem like a lot, but crafters will burn through the item quickly, so you’d best get gathering. Assuming you have gear that’s powerful enough to mine the gem in the first place.
That’s because the last thing you need to harvest Raw Eblan Danburite is 3,230 Perception. This is one of the three stats dictated in large part by the quality of your Disciple of the Land gear. Thankfully, it’s not too hard to reach this level of the Perception stat. A full set of Item Level 560 gathering gear with enough Gatherer’s Guile Materia VIII will do the trick. This is the top Perception Materia from the last expansion, Shadowbringers, and thus much cheaper and easier to acquire than the current stuff. You do not need to overmeld your gear at all to harvest Raw Eblan Danburite in this way.
That should be pretty much everything you need about where and when to find Raw Eblan Danburite in Final Fantasy XIV! Best of luck with your crafting endeavors going forward as we all enjoy the new stuff introduced in Patch 6.1.
