Final Fantasy XIV is no stranger to cross-overs, and Warriors of Light have met the likes of Monster Hunter's Rathalos and characters of Yo-kai Watch. Every two to three years, FFXIV gets a visit from a familiar face from the Final Fantasy franchise with a nice set of wheels.
The Regalia Type-G mount is the Eorzean counterpart to FFXV protagonist Noctis Lucis Caelum's signature car. The Regalia, used throughout his story, is one of six mounts in FFXIV that can seat four party members. For those who want it in FFXIV, when the Nocturne of Heroes event is active, it's the easiest of the four-seated mounts to get. However, you'll require extra effort to obtain the mount, as the Regalia is more than just a simple reward for completing the event.

How to unlock the Regalia mount in FFXIV
The Regalia mount is only available during A Nocturne for Heroes and requires the completion of its three related quests. Speak with Kipih Kajiya in Ul'dah – Steps of Nald (X: 8.5, Y: 9.7) to take the first quest in the chain, "The Man in Black."
A Nocturne for Heroes consists of the following three quests:
- The Man in Black via Kipih Kajiya in Ul'dah – Steps of Nald (X: 8.5, Y: 9.7)
- In the Dark of Night via Kipih Kajiya
- Messenger of the Winds via Noctis in New Gridania (X:11.5, Y:11.3)
Once the final quest of the event is complete and your flashy new Lucian Prince outfit is tucked away, it may feel like A Nocturne for Heroes has nothing left to offer. However, four wheels are waiting for you at the Gold Saucer, ready to be driven without a license and without questions about how a lalafell can reach the pedals.

Once you've completed the quests, head to the Gold Saucer and speak to the Ironworks Vendor (X: 5.2, Y: 6.3), who carries the last few rewards for the event. Along with a new Noctis-styled hair and a Triple Triad card, the Regalia Type-G Title is available for 200,000 MGP. The cost for the Regalia mount is relatively cheap compared to other mounts available at The Gold Saucer, and you can get the required amount quickly if you know the methods to farm MGP.
The first A Nocturne for Heroes crossover took place in 2019, three years after the launch of Final Fantasy XV. Noctis's story might be an old tale overshadowed by newer entries, but Square Enix keeps it alive through his occasional visit to Eorzea and the traffic jam outside of the Gold Saucer.
