Patch 6.55 introduces Wuk Lamat, the first female hrothgar character in Final Fantasy XIV and the voice actor behind this first-of-its-kind is already known. Wuk Lamat's voice actor is making their debut by playing a character who is coming to FFXIV to prepare players for what is to come in Dawntrail.
Wuk Lamat is part of the main cast of characters in Dawntrail in the FFXIV Tokyo FanFest 2024, alongside female hrothgar as a new playable race, where the game’s director and producer Naoki "Yoshi-P" Yoshida showcased a new version of Dawntrail’s trailer. People are already obsessed with Wuk Lamat, making them curious about Wuk Lamat's voice actor, and with the Patch 6.55 Main Story Quest, they have the chance to get to know the character before the new expansion releases.
Who is Wuk Lamat’s Voice Actor in FFXIV?
Wuk Lamat, the new addition to the main cast of characters that will assist the Warrior of Light in Dawntrail, is voiced by Sena Bryar, a voice actress based out of Los Angeles. Her announcement as the voice of Wuk Lamat was made in a tweet now deleted by Sena. The reasons why she decided to delete it are unknown, but the community responded positively to the news that she, as a trans woman, is being added to the cast of FFXIV.
As a voice actress, Sena Bryar is currently working as a freelancer for Atlas Talent and her resume shows she has experience when it comes to voicing a large range of characters for different types of content. When it comes to video games, Sena worked on Blizzard’s World of Warcraft-themed TCG, Hearthstone, voicing some cards such as the Fierce Outsider and Unchained Gladiator. She has also worked on EA’s Need for Speed: Unbound, playing Justicia, one of the drivers in the game.
Wuk Lamat is Sena’s debut on FFXIV and she is coming with quite a big role. While there isn’t a lot of information regarding Wuk Lamat, Yoshi-P told during the Tokyo FFXIV FanFest 2024 that she is from Tural, a continent in the west of the Three Great Continents players already know. She is the daughter of Gulool Ja Ja, who rules Tuliyollal, one of the cities Dawntrail is introducing to the game.
