How to Get Multicolored Islebooms in FFXIV's Island Sanctuary

Hope you aren't allergic to pollen.

The Island Sanctuary in Final Fantasy XIV can provide hours and hours of content. After unlocking this optional part of the game, you'll soon be busy upgrading your new slice of paradise to rake in the gil or just relax and mindlessly gather materials to keep your workshops in business.

One of the less commonly used materials are the Multicolored Isleblooms. These flowers are used only in one handicraft and for one landmark, and their location isn't such that you'll randomly stock up on them. Still, you'll want to know where to find these blooms when they appear in a handicraft.

Make sure you enable "Gathering" mode on your island before you head out to farm up materials since having it on allows you to interact with nodes. Collecting Multicolored Isleblooms is trickier than the average material because of their scattered placement and location far from other nodes. You'll have to fly around from spot to spot if you want to get your hands on these flowers. These blooms are in places you can't reach by foot, so the ability to fly is a must-have.

The three places that make one route consisting of 11 Multicolored Isleblooms are as follows:

  • The Hideaway: To the east of the Hideaway are several islands you can only reach by flying (X: 20.0, Y 30.0). On two of these islands, you can find Isleblooms. The western island has two nodes, while the eastern one has three.

  • Small Spring: The small waterfall in this area (X: 22.2, Y: 16.5) offers up another four Multicolored Islebloom nodes. There are also a few quartz nodes here, but if your only focus is Isleblooms, you do not need to hit these to respawn the nodes from islands near The Hideaway.

  •  Gentle Slope: The final two Isleblooms are on an island south of Gentle Slope, near Pristine Pond (X: 14.8, Y 22.6). If you gather these two in addition to the ones listed above, you can complete your loop by going back to islands near The Hideaway to the first node you gathered.
