Sublime Crystalbloom is a type of material gathered by Botanists in FFXIV. It can be found in the northernmost landmass of Ultima Thule (X: 27.9, Y: 13.1) in a single Legendary gathering node that spawns at 10:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. Eorzea Time. The node will remain available for two virtual hours in both cases, until 12:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. Eorzea Time, respectively.
For reference, players may note that this is the exact same Legendary node that produces Potent Spice and Double-edged Herb.
However, players cannot harvest Sublime Crystalbloom directly. They must instead gather Prime Crystalbloom — which has a very small chance of becoming the sublime variant when collected.
Players can then select either the prime or sublime item from their inventory and choose the command “Aetherial Reduction.” The prime variant then has a small chance of producing Verdurous Glioaether. Whereas the sublime version has a guaranteed chance of providing the new item. This, in turn, is a crafting material required for Water Otter Fountain Lumber.
