Oak Log is an FFXIV crafting material gathered by the Botanist class, a Disciple of the Land. A rough-cut log of oak timber. It’s an ingredient used in a few Alchemist recipes, but its main use is for Carpenters, who can turn Oak Logs into Oak Lumber. At a specific level range, these are used for many Carpenter crafting recipes.
You can find the material within Level 35 Mature Trees outside of Camp Tranquil (X: 16.0, Y: 30.3) in South Shroud. Before you can acquire the resource from the node, you must first unlock the Botanist class. Then you need to be at least Level 31 before you can tap these nodes and acquire this material.
