Bomb Ash is an FFXIV crafting material gathered by the Miner class, a Disciple of the Land. Grey ash produced by the internal combustions of a bomb. It’s a primary ingredient for Blacksmiths and Armorers to craft Steel Ingots, a very useful crafting material.
You can find the material within Level 30 Rocky Outcrops east of Forgotten Springs in the Sagolii Desert (X: 22.3, Y: 29.7) in Southern Thanalan. Before you can acquire the resource from the node, you must first unlock the Miner class. Then you need to be at least Level 26 before you can tap these nodes and acquire this material.

There are two other ways to acquire Bomb Ash. The first is by trading one Titan Cobaltpiece to the Kobold Vendor in Outer La Noscea (X: 21.6 Y: 17.8). Alternatively, you can kill a number of Bomb-type A Realm Reborn enemies. The list of enemies includes:
