The Final Fantasy XIV Fan Fest in Tokyo is less than a week away, and it’s a chance for FFXIV players from around the world to catch a glimpse of what’s coming to the game in the Dawntrail expansion. Last Fan Fest in London, Naoki “Yoshi-P” Yoshida treated fans to the reveal of a new job, the Viper, as well as teasers about locations of the upcoming expansion during the keynote introduction. In Tokyo, even more reveals are expected.

An official schedule for the weekend has also been revealed, giving fans outline of each panel and what time it airs.
FFXIV Tokyo Fan Fest Keynote Start Time
As per the Tokyo Fan Fest website, the Keynote speech will take place from 5pm to 7pm PST on Saturday, Jan. 6. With the Keynote kicking things off in the morning in Japan, time differences mean it starts in the evening for US fans. Here’s a helpful list of start times in different time zones:
- JST: 10am - 12am Sunday, Jan. 7
- AEDT: 12pm - 2pm Sunday, Jan. 7
- GMT: 1am - 3am Sunday, Jan. 7
- CET: 2am - 4am Sunday, Jan. 7
- PST: 5pm - 7pm Saturday, Jan. 6
- CST: 7pm - 9pm Saturday, Jan. 6
- EST: 8pm - 10pm Saturday Jan. 6
The presentation will take approximately 120 minutes (two hours) and will primarily feature Yoshi-P as he runs down future additions to the game. As per the website: “Producer and director Naoki Yoshida will talk about new developments in FFXIV.”
