FFXIV Patch 6.51 Maintenance Schedule and Timer

What to do for four hours with no FFXIV?

Final Fantasy XIV Patch 6.51 is on the horizon and that means maintenance to add all the upcoming features to the game. Square Enix revealed details of when exactly the game would go down for maintenance on Oct. 30, giving players enough time to prepare for it.

Maintenance will begin on Oct. 30 (PDT) and continue until early next morning. It’s a shorter scheduled maintenance, running only for a projected four hours. For a small patch like 6.51, this is fairly standard time. For the duration of maintenance, the game will be unavailable. Players will also need to make sure they’re logged off and not in the process of completing duties and quests ahead of maintenance, as progress could be lost if they’re ongoing when the servers go down.

According to the details, “This maintenance will not end before the scheduled ending time.” This is likely for the benefit of the world's first race to complete the new Criterion (Savage) Dungeon, Aloalo Island.

This new Variant and Criterion Dungeon is just one of the new content additions coming in Patch 6.51, along with a new Fall Guys collaboration, new Splendorous Tools quests, and an additional Crystalline Conflict arena.

Here’s when the maintenance for FFXIV Patch 6.51 will begin and end in your time zone.
