With less than a year before the launch of Final Fantasy XIV's new Dawntrail expansion, players are chomping at the bit to get story details that will lead Warriors of Light to a new location and a new epic tale. With Patch 6.5, that story will begin.
Along with Main Scenario Quests, there is a plethora of new content coming, including new Dungeons, Trials, Custom Deliveries, Island Sanctuary improvements, a new PvP Series, and more. The preliminary patch notes were released this morning, giving players more insight as to what is coming after the Live Letter from the Producers showed off most of it last week.
In case the patch notes seem a bit overwhelming, here is a summary of the most important bits of the Patch 6.5 preliminary notes. This article will be updated when the final patch notes are posted.
