Going through the initial steps to develop your Island Sanctuary in Final Fantasy XIV is a slow process since there is so much about the place you don’t know and many materials to stock. Among the items you need to look for to craft important tools for your mammets in the early stages of your island is the Island Limestone.
There are different types of rocks and plants to discover and collect in FFXIV’s Island Sanctuary. From the rare Island Quartz to the annoyingly spread Island Cotton Bolls, the place doesn’t lack diversity. Despite how scarce a material is, there is always a more optimal route to farm it.

Where to find Island Limestone in FFXIV’s Island Sanctuary
When it comes to collecting Island Limestone in FFXIV’s Island Sanctuary, there are three major farm locations. These are good spots due to the number of nodes containing the item present in the area. Island Limestone shares the node with Island Stone, which means that you can farm both materials at the same time.
- Pristine Pond: As of the time you start exploring the island, Pristine Pond at X: 18.2 Y: 24.2 is a location where you find many of the initial materials you will need. This is a good farm route because you don’t need to spend time traversing the island to find it. In this place, there are some trees that you can also collect in order to respawn the Island Limestone nodes without walking too far from them.

- North of Gentle Slope: If you go to the top-left corner of the map, you will find some Island Limestone nodes at X: 15.7 Y: 15.2. Although this farming spot is a little far from the main area, this is a great place in case you need to farm Island Copper Ore as well. The distance separating the nodes is short enough to make collecting a large number of Island Limestones and Island Copper Ore a quick task to complete.

- West of Coral Sands: The least optimal farm route among the three, this area is an option only because you can also farm Isle Parsnip Seeds and other materials from trees. You find enough Island Limestone nodes around X: 29.0 Y: 21.9 but they are so far from each other that picking this route instead of the others is hardly a good choice. Consider this one an option only if you need the other materials you find in the region.
