Dancer Gear and Best-in-Slot Guide - Patch 6.5 - FFXIV

Perfect your Dancer's gear in FFXIV Patch 6.5 with this ultimate Best-in-Slot guide for enhanced gameplay and style.

There’s nothing better than dancing your heart out and killing enemies while you do it, and in Final Fantasy XIV, having the best gear will help you achieve that goal faster. While Dancers don’t need Best-in-Slot gear to clear normal content, those looking to complete high-end content will want every advantage they can get.

Whether you're stepping into Savage for the first time or just want to carry your team through every Dungeon or Trial with your fancy dance moves, this guide will cover the Best-in-Slot gear for both casual players and those looking to conquer the game's hardest content in Endwalker. Below you will find builds for the highest item level tomestone gear as well as the Best-in-Slot gear that you can only get from completing Savage raids.

How to get Best-in-Slot for Dancer

The best gear in the game is only obtainable from doing Savage-level content. It is a mix of Augmented Credendum gear, which is obtained from tomestones and Alliance Raid currency, and Ascension gear from Savage raids.  The BiS weapon is the current Relic Weapon, Mandervillous Chakrams, prioritizing Critical Hit and Determination with Direct Hit as the lesser stat. If you need help fixing your Relic Weapon stats, check out this guide

Use the Etro build below to determine whether you need Augmented Credendum gear or Ascension gear in any given slot. Meld the listed materia, and you'll be geared up for Endwalker's hardest content.

How to get the best gear for Dancer with tomestones

If Savage raiding isn't for you, fear not, you can still achieve a high average ilvl without having to take on some of the hardest content in the game. The best option to get the best gear without Savage raiding is using Augmented Credendum gear. If you're not sure how or where to get that gear, check out this guide

The only piece that can be swapped out here is the second ring slot. Currently, two of the same ring cannot be equipped. This means that you'll need to choose between the unaugmented version of the Credendum Ring of Aiming, or the crafted Augmented Diadochos Ring of Aiming. The Credendum ring has a higher crit stat while the crafted ring has a higher Det stat, and the ability to pentameld it.

How you decide to craft your gearset with this in mind is up to you. For those who just want good gear to carry them through post-Endwalker and into the beginning of Dawntrail, either will do just fine. We recommend the Credendum ring since it requires no gil or crafting to get, just some Tomestones of Comedy. If you're low on them and need help farming him, this guide will help.
