Stonehard Water is an FFXIV crafting material gathered by the Miner class, a Disciple of the Land. Water so replete with minerals that drinking it unboiled is inadvisable, regardless of how appealing that may seem. It’s an endgame ingredient found in legendary nodes, used in many Level 90 Alchemist recipes.
You can find the material within several Level 90 Legendary Rocky Outcrops:
Kydonia Knolls (X: 9.1, Y: 22.9), north of the Sinus Lacrimarum Aetheryte in Mare Lamentorum. Available here between 2 A.M. / P.M – 4 A.M. / P.M.
Ethoseletikos Boreas (X: 13.6, Y: 7.2), north of the Poieten Oikos Aetheryte in Elpis. Available here between 4 A.M. / P.M – 6 A.M. / P.M.
Before you can acquire the resource from the node, you must first unlock the Miner class. Then you need to be at least Level 90 and unlock the Tome of Geological Folklore – The Sea of Stars. The latter item can be purchased from the Splendors Vendor in Radz-at-Han (X: 11.3, Y: 9.1). It will cost you 16 Regional Folklore Trader’s Token C which can be purchased from any Scrip Exchange vendor for 1600 White Gatherers’ Scrip.
