Modern Aesthetics – Practical Ponytails is a consumable item in FFXIV. It permanently unlocks the Practical Ponytails hairstyle as a character customization option via the Aesthetician (a.k.a. the hair stylist players can summon via the Crystal Bell inside inns and player residences).
It can be purchased for 6,000 Seafarer’s Cowries from the Horrendous Hoarder NPC — who is found the Cozy Cabin headquarters section of the Island Sanctuary. The item is located under the “Others” section of the shop inventory.
