Little Worm is an FFXIV crafting material gathered by the Miner class, a Disciple of the Land. While commonly used as bait by fishers across the realm, little worms also make fine chocobo feed, providing a good source of protein for growing birds. It’s an ingredient in a few Culinarian recipes. Despite the name and item description, it’s actually not used as Fishing Tackle for Fisher classes.
You can find the material within Level 35 Mineral Deposits in the Sagolli Desert (X: 25.1, Y: 40.9) in Southern Thanalan. Before you can acquire the resource from the node, you must first unlock the Miner class. Then you need to be at least Level 31 before you can tap these nodes and acquire this material. It’s also worth noting the Little Worm is a somewhat rare drop from the nodes.
