Aqueous Glioaether is a type of rare crafting material in FFXIV. It can be acquired by using Aetherial Reduction on a Mayashell. This is a type of fish found (as its name suggests) at The Font of Maya in Thavnair.
To use Aetherial Reduction, make sure the skill “Collect” is active as a Fisher when catching a Mayashell. This will convert the fish into a Collectible in your inventory — which gives it a Collectability score. Select the Mayashell from your inventory and choose “Aetherial Reduction” for a chance of acquiring Aqueous Glioaether.
The higher the Collectability score, the more likely it is to receive the crafting material via Aetherial Reduction. Players have thus far reported acquiring the material at Collectability scores as low as 819.
