Some Palworld resources and where to find them:

Cake Requirements in Palworld

To unlock the Cooking Pot, a tool necessary for the creation of your romance-igniting Cake, you'll first need to reach Level 17. If you're already a hardened Pal catcher and have hit that required level, head on over to your Technology menu. You'll then need to spend two Technology Points there to unlock the Cooking Pot.

Make sure you have three Flame Organs, 15 Ingots, and 29 Wood logs ready in chests or your inventory so that you can place the Cooking Pot at your base. It's also smart to have an efficient fire-type Pal like Reptyro or Wixen assigned to work via your Palbox as the Cake requires Kindling to cook and takes relatively long to finish.

Cake Ingredients in Palworld

Once you have your Cooking Pot ready, you'll need to gather a few different ingredients to craft the Cake. The recipe calls for eight Eggs, five Flour, two Honey, seven Milk, and eight Red Berries. You can make Flour out of Wheat once you've unlocked the Mill and Wheat Plantation. To get Eggs, Honey, and Milk, simply farm Beegarde, Chikipi, or Mozzarina Pals at your base's Ranch.

Alternatively, capture or kill the same Pals listed above in the wild to get the ingredients as drops. In the wild, Cinnamoth, Elizabee, and Warsect Pals all also drop Honey. If you don't want to farm or kill and you've got a load of Gold Coins saved up, you can opt to purchase ingredients from Wandering Merchants instead at the Small Settlement (75, -479) or another NPC village.

Cake Use in Palworld

When your Cake is finally ready, add one desired male and female Pal each to your Breeding Farm. Then, toss your freshly baked Cake into the box beside the structure and watch their love blossom. It's important to note that one Cake will only last long enough to produce just one egg from your Pal couple.

Unfortunately, this means you'll have to cook more than one Palworld Cake if you're looking to 100% your Paldeck. The lengthy crafting and cooking process will all feel worth it once you lay eyes on your shiny new Frostallion Noct or Reptyro Cryst, though.
