The Dawning is back in Season of the Wish and Eva Levante has a new Dawning weapon for players, the Albedo Wing. Here's a guide on how players can get Albedo Wing and what the best rolls are for PVE and PVP.
How to Obtain
Players can get Albedo Wing through event challenges, Festive Engrams and weapon focusing at Eva Levante. Players can also purchase the Perkier Presents upgrade from Eva to get Dawning weapons with multiple perks to increase the chances of getting the rolls they want.
About Albedo Wing
Albedo Wing is an Arc Aggressive Frame glaive that players can only get during the Dawning Event. This weapon also comes with Hakke Breach Armaments and Dawning Surprise origin traits. Hakke Breach Armaments offers bonus damage against vehicles and constructs, which can be paired with Deconstruct for even more damage against vehicles and constructs. Dawning Surprise drops a little purple present upon getting multiple final blows with an additional present dropping upon defeating a powerful enemy.
Albedo Wing PVE God Roll
Aggressive Frame glaives hit harder in every sense with the tradeoff of feeling a bit heavier than Adaptive Frame and Rapid Fire Frame glaives. Still, the glaive fantasy of constantly melee-ing enemies feels all that much better with Aggressive Frame glaives and Albedo Wing is no exception. It has Close to Melee, a perk that made the very first Aggressive Frame glaive, Judgement of Kelgorath, special. This perk allows players to deal increased melee damage upon getting a projectile final blow. For context, Close to Melee offers a 30% damage buff to glaive melee damage and this buff lasts for 10 seconds. But it gets better, players can extend this buff by dealing melee or projectile damage for 5 seconds per hit, up to 10 seconds. This means that once Close to Melee is activated, it can be chained infinitely to destroy enemies with simply melee damage. Outside of Close To Melee, players should look for Deconstruct, a brand-new perk in Season of the Wish that offers bonus damage against vehicles and constructs upon dealing sustained damage. This also partially refills the magazine from thin air and not the ammo reserves, like one would expect from perks like Triple Tap and Fourth Times the Charm. For the third column, there are new perks like Beacon Rounds, which offer tracking to projectiles upon getting final blows with the weapon. This was previously only available in the Indebted Kindness, the rocket sidearm from Warlord's Ruin. Other alternatives in the third column are Grave Robber for melee-based reload shenanigans, Replenishing Aegis for reloading the weapon while using the shield and Clown Cartridge and Field Prep for increased magazine/ammo reserves.

Albedo Wing PVP God Roll
When it comes to using this glaive in PVP, there’s two ways to go about it. You either commit to range — and use it like a long-range shotgun that you can punch with — or you commit to handling to clean up a kill after damaging enemy players with another weapon. With this being an Aggressive Frame glaive, it’s going to feel a little heavier than something like The Enigma or Nezarec’s Whisper, which are Adaptive Frame glaives. This is noticeable when you melee with it or when you fire its projectile, which is also worth keeping in mind when using this weapon in the Crucible. As for perks, Beacon Rounds is a smart pick due to its tracking nature, which can be very useful in an environment where enemies are always moving. Alternatively, Keep Away is another great option to get a range boost alongside an accuracy boost. For the fourth column, High Impact Reserves is absolutely the way to go as it offers more damage at the bottom half of the magazine and the bonus damage can be useful for cleaning up targets with overshields or high resilience.
Best PVP Perks by Column Number
