Remember Borderlands? The series is returning under a D&D-inspired spin-off called Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, combining orcs and magical abilities with the usual weapon mayhem folks know and love. The launch is just around the corner, and the developer has shared details on the global release times for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, as well as when you can start downloading the game on your platform of choice. If you happen to be on Xbox, there is a trick to start playing early, too.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Release Times on PC
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands launches on March 25, but you can start playing a bit earlier on PC depending on your region.
The Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands release times on PC are as follows:
- 4 p.m. PDT on March 24
- 7 p.m. EDT on March 24
- 11 p.m. GMT on March 24
You can use the aforementioned times to calculate the exact hour if your region isn’t on the list, but there is also a helpful image that you can use as a reference above.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Release Times on PlayStation and Xbox
The Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands release times on PlayStation and Xbox consoles are as follows:
- 9 p.m. PDT on March 24
- Midnight EDT of March 25
- Midnight GMT of March 25
Once again: While you can use the aforementioned times to calculate the exact hour if your region isn’t on the list, you can also use the helpful image above as a reference.
When Can You Start Downloading Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands? – Pre-Load Times and Download Size
First of all, it’s worth mentioning there is no pre-load for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands on PC. At the time of launch, the game is only available on PC via the Epic Store, which isn’t an early download. It’s a shame when you consider that the actual game is releasing five hours ahead of time compared to consoles, but unless you have a decent internet speed, you may not be able to play with as much advantage in comparison.
That being said, you can already pre-load Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands on both PlayStation and Xbox consoles. In case you’re curious about the download size on PlayStation, it’s close to 30 GB. This doesn’t take into account the day one patch, which may increase this further.
How to Play Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Early on Xbox Consoles
If you happen to have the game on Xbox, you can play Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands early with the following steps:
- Sign in to your Xbox console.
- Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.
- Head to System – Settings – System – Language & Location.
- Select New Zealand from the Location list, and then select Restart now.
It’s only going to get you ahead of the official Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands release time on consoles for a couple of hours, but it’s a neat trick to consider. Remember that if you own the physical Xbox One copy of the game, you won’t be able to upgrade to Xbox Series X/S, which is quite a weird outlier in the game’s upgrade plan.
