Genshin Impact Heizou Hangout Guide – Unlock All Endings

The Genshin Impact Heizou Hangout Event is all about solving crime. Your new friend, detective Shikanoin Heizou, will teach you the ins and outs of preventing fraud and solving murder cases. Surprisingly dark stuff for a Hangout Event, but don’t worry; it’s mostly happy endings.

As always, your actions will determine the outcome of the Hangout Event. If you manage to unlock all five endings, you will get the maximum rewards. Here’s a detailed step-by-step guide to make that a reality! Of course, we’ll also explain how to find the Heizou Hangout Secret Achievements.

Shikanoin Heizou Hangout Requirements

It takes two Story Keys to unlock the Heizou Hangout Event. Eight Daily Commissions award one Key, so you have to do every Dailies for a total of four days to unlock this Hangout. On top of that, you need to meet the following requirements:

• Have an Adventure Rank of 40 or higher.
• Complete Inazuma Archon Quest Chapter II: Act III “Omnipresence Over Mortals.”
• Complete Raiden Shogun’s Story Quest “Imperatrix Umbrosa Chapter: Act II – Transient Dreams.”
• Complete Arataki Itto’s Story Quest “Taurus Iracundus Chapter: Act I – Rise Up, Golden Soul.”

How to Get All Shikanoin Heizou Hangout Endings

This Hangout Event has a total of five endings. Our step-by-step guide will help you find the corresponding dialogue branches with ease. If a certain dialogue option isn’t mentioned, however, it just means that choice doesn’t influence the Hangout’s outcome.

Heizou’s Hangout Event starts at the Bantan Sango Detective Agency in Inazuma City. Sango and Ryuuji will ask you to find a missing person named (surprise!) Shikanoin Heizou. First, teleport to Sangonomiya Shrine on Watatsumi Island. A guard will then point you to the southeastern corner of Watatsumi, where you need to defeat a group of Nobushi. Once that’s done, our star detective will introduce himself.

Shikanoin Heizou Hangout Ending 1 “Memories Do Not Evaporate” – Good

1. When Heizou asks you to assist his investigation, choose one of the options on the right side of the screen:
   • “I’ll assist your investigation.”
   • Or: “I’ll tag along since you’re determined to stay.”
2. Teleport back to Sangonomiya Shrine and go through the dialogue.
   • Important: during your secret meetup, Heizou asks for your judgment. Go for the first option: “All right, you’ve convinced me.” Not the second one, which is “No, you’re overthinking this.” If you choose this, the Hangout will fail!
3. Go to Bourou Village and secretly follow the NPCs. If they stop and turn around, jump behind the nearest house.
4. Go through the dialogue, set the in-game timer to 08:00 the following morning, and teleport back to Sangonomiya Shrine.
   • Secret Achievement: After speaking to Todoroki (before the final dialogue part with Heizou), make sure you talk to Gorou to obtain Sangonomiya Supplications.
5. Meet up with Heizou again to unlock the first Heizou Hangout ending.

Shikanoin Heizou Hangout Ending 2 “Free Onikabuto Lunch” – Good

1. When Heizou asks you to assist his investigation, convince him to go back to Inazuma City first. Choose one of the options on the left side of the screen:
   • “I’m curious about your dream, but it’s my duty to bring you back.”
   • Or: “Your dream’s really out there, so I think I should bring you back first.”
2. Go back to Inazuma City, go through the dialogue, then read the three nearby case files.
3. Directly after that, when Heizou asks if anything caught your eye, choose this option: “An approval reply for Heizou Talks Fraud.”
4. Talk to the NPCs at the Grand Narukami Shrine and in Inazuma City, then speak to Itto.
5. Set the in-game timer to 20:00 the following day and watch the Heizou Talks Fraud performance.
6. At the end of the play, choose: “Itto, keep an eye out for Etsu and Iba!” to unlock the second Heizou Hangout ending.

Shikanoin Heizou Hangout Ending 3 “The Three Undeceivables” – Good

1. When Heizou asks you to assist his investigation, convince him to go back to Inazuma City first. Choose one of the options on the left side of the screen:
   • “I’m curious about your dream, but it’s my duty to bring you back.”
   • Or: “Your dream’s really out there, so I think I should bring you back first.”
2. Go back to Inazuma City, go through the dialogue, then read the three nearby case files.
3. Directly after that, when Heizou asks if anything caught your eye, choose this option: “An approval reply for Heizou Talks Fraud.”
4. Talk to the NPCs at the Grand Narukami Shrine and in Inazuma City, then speak to Itto.
5. Set the in-game timer to 20:00 the following day and watch the Heizou Talks Fraud performance.
6. At the end of the play, choose: “Itto, just follow your heart!” to unlock the third Heizou Hangout ending.

Shikanoin Heizou Hangout Ending 4 “There’s One Secret” – Neutral

1. When Heizou asks you to assist his investigation, convince him to go back to Inazuma City first. Choose one of the options on the left side of the screen:
   • “I’m curious about your dream, but it’s my duty to bring you back.”
   • Or: “Your dream’s really out there, so I think I should bring you back first.”
2. Go back to Inazuma City, go through the dialogue, then read the three nearby case files.
3. Directly after that, when Heizou asks if anything caught your eye, choose any dialogue option except the one in the upper right corner:
   • “Prince of Mischief”
   • Dog named “Eastern Express”
   • Or: “I’m concerned about the complaint letter.”
4. Next, visit the Bantan Sango Detective Agency, then go back to the police station. Heizou will ask you to investigate more case files. There are eight of them in total.
   • Secret Achievement: Make sure you answer Heizou’s questions in the following order to unlock the “An Ideal Detective Am I.”
     • “Yes I did.”
     • “Shiroyama’s Testament and Takatsukasa Isamu’s Message.”
     • Once again: “Yes I did.”
     • “The Autopsy Report of Takatsukasa Isamu, Shiroyama’s Testament, and the Toxicology Report.”
5. Meet up with Heizou elsewhere in Inazuma City, and then visit the Bantan Sango Detective Agency again.
6. When asked for your final verdict, say: “Sango was wrong about Heizou, and the murderer was indeed Shiroyama.”

Shikanoin Heizou Hangout Ending 5 “The Famous Detective’s Principle” – Neutral

1. When Heizou asks you to assist his investigation, convince him to go back to Inazuma City first. Choose one of the options on the left side of the screen:
   • “I’m curious about your dream, but it’s my duty to bring you back.”
   • Or: “Your dream’s really out there, so I think I should bring you back first.”
2. Go back to Inazuma City, go through the dialogue, then read the three nearby case files.
3. Directly after that, when Heizou asks if anything caught your eye, choose any dialogue option except the one in the upper right corner:
   • “Prince of Mischief”
   • Dog named “Eastern Express”
   • Or: “I’m concerned about the complaint letter.”
4. Next, visit the Bantan Sango Detective Agency, then go back to the police station. Heizou will ask you to investigate more case files. There are eight of them in total.

7. Set the in-game timer to 08:00 the following day. Just a bit more dialogue to go through, and the fifth Hangout ending is complete!
