Destiny 2 Season of the Lost is here and we’re heading back to The Dreaming City. Acting as a prologue to The Witch Queen expansion, this season revolves around freeing Savathun from her worm god to save Osiris from her clutches. Along with a new seasonal activity, players can also obtain new armor, weapons, exotics, and in-game consumables. Players can also get their hands on the newest exotic trace rifle, Ager’s Scepter, today via a quest found in the H.E.L.M. Before we begin, just know that you must have already completed all of the Wayfinder’s Voyage quest steps up to this week. If not, focus on reaching step 25 in the quest before you can start the exotic mission, A Hollow Coronation.
(Author’s Note: I will only be detailing the steps where you need to actually do something. So any steps revolving around just flying back to Mara Sov won’t be included.)
A Hollow Coronation Quest
Find Five Atlas Skews
Did you really think we weren’t going to be hunting down a bunch of Atlas Skews this week? These skews are located in areas that are only accessible via Taken portals in The Dreaming City. Three of them can be found around The Shattered Realm’s original quest location, one is in Harbinger’s Seclude, and another is in the Garden of Esila. While I have a guide going into more details for this step, here’s a quick breakdown of each location.
Harbinger Cathedral – Make your way to where the Ahamkara Skulls are in Harbinger’s Seclude. This is at the end of the large building after you jump down the elevator. By the cliffside is a Taken Portal that will warp you to a room where the Atlas Skew is.
Garden Giant Statue – In The Strand, head up the massive slope towards the Garden of Esila. When you arrive in this area, battle your way to the large courtyard filled with Hive enemies. Above you should see a large bridge with a big tree at the end. Jump up onto it and go to the right towards the stone gazebo. Inside you’ll see a Taken portal that spits you out in front of another Atlas Skew.
Confluence Giant Crystal – Now make your way to the Spire of Keres via the pathway in the Divalian Mists. When you arrive in this area, jump down onto the path below the long bridge leading towards the spire. Follow the path down to a cave where a Taken portal is located. Going through the portal will lead you to the area where The Shattered Realm was originally located. Go down the hall until you reach a large room with a blue crystal. This is where the Atlas Skew is located.
Alternatively, you can just go down the hallway if you took the Taken Portal in the Garden of Esila and you’ll arrive in The Confluence.
Confluence Throne Portal – From the crystal, continue through this structure until you reach a large circular room with two branching paths. Going forward will lead you to a room where the broken portal is. Right in front of the portal by the steps is the fourth Atlas Skew.
Confluence Tree Triad – Your final Atlas Skew can be found in the room with the branching paths. This time go down the right hallways towards the large tree to find the last skew.
Collect Parallax Trajectories & Kill Enemies
For this step, you will need to kill enemies in the Astral Alignment activity with any type of rifle and collect 100 Parallax Trajectory. Note, I said rifle which means scout rifles, auto rifles, pulse rifles, fusion rifles, sniper rifles, and linear fusion rifles will all count towards your progress. I recommend using a primary rifle weapon to speed things up, since this will take around 2-3 runs depending on how many foes you kill. Just don’t focus on the objectives and solely worry about killing the rank-and-file enemies running around.
As for the Parallax Trajectory, you can get this in a number of different ways. While pretty much every activity will give you enough if you have the Vision of Splendor you will earn quite a bit of Parallax Trajectories from killing the boss’ doppelgangers that spawn during the final fight.
Defeat Champions and Get Super Kills
The next step is going to be a bit more of a headache since you need to defeat 18 Champions and get 20 Super Kills in the Astral Alignment activity. While the Super kills will be supremely easy, the Champions will take a bit of work. Since everyone is focusing on completing this step, it’s imperative that you focus on at least damaging a Champion before it dies. This will count towards your progress, even if you don’t land the final blow. Also, this quest is a bit slow to update so don’t fret if you kill a Champion and it doesn’t count right away.
The best segment to kill Champions is during the orb encounter because they are extremely predictable. One will always spawn by where the three orbs spawn on either side and then two will appear after you dunk the two orbs from each side. This gives you a total of six in this activity, plus any you get during the boss fight or other encounters. Remember, just try to damage them so you get some progress towards this quest step.
Get Three Strands of Nobility
Upon completing the quest above you will be tasked with finding three Strands of Nobility from thieves across the galaxy. Now, this sounds like you need to find an new enemy or item somewhere in the strikes listed, but in reality, all you have to do is complete the strikes. So just finish the Lake of Shadows, The Disgraced, and The Glassway strikes. These don’t need to be via the Vanguard Strike playlist, so you can load them up individually via the destination maps.
Grab the Ager’s Scepter and Kill the Boss
You can now select the exotic quest in the H.E.L.M. destination menu and grab the new exotic trace rifle. Once you have Ager’s Scepter, equip it and destroy the rocks marked by a white diamond. They can only be destroyed with the new exotic, so make sure to have it equipped. After blasting your way to a hidden chamber, kill the Hive enemies and boss that spawns to complete this mission. You now have a fancy new exotic to freeze and frustrate foes with.
