The Unsung Blade of Abyssos is a special raid token in FFXIV. It’s effectively a type of currency that can be traded to one of two NPCs: Mylenie in Labyrinthos (X: 8.3, Y: 27.6) or Djole in Radz-at-Han (X: 10.3, Y: 9.6). Seven in total will buy you one Ultralight Tomestone.
This special tomestone can, in turn, be traded to Cihanti in Radz-at-Han (X: 10.8, Y: 10.4) — along with 500 Allagan Tomestones of Causality (or 350 for a Paladin sword) — to purchase one Lunar Envoy weapon. You can only earn one Unsung Blade of Abyssos every week by completing Abyssos: The Eighth Circle. Thus, it takes seven total weeks to acquire a single Lunar Envoy weapon.
However, it’s worth noting that the Unsung Blade of Abyssos is a guaranteed drop for all players finishing this section of the Normal Raid. Whereas other tokens are semi-random drops every player must roll Need or Greed for against one another.
You can find the option to purchase an Ultralight Tomestone at the bottom of any Unsung Relic of Abyssos Exchange option (DoW I, DoW II, and/or DoM) when speaking to the appropriate Relic Exchange NPCs.
