When we switched over to this new version of Fanbyte back in July, we almost immediately had folks reaching out about the FFXIV modelviewer no longer being available. If you've been waiting it to be live again, I'm happy to confirm that the FFXIV modelviewer is once again live and you can find it here.
We have not made any changes to the modelviewer, we wanted to focus on getting it live for the people who were already using it. That isn't to say we don't have any aspirations when it comes to making improvements. There's a ton we'd love to do with it! But those aren't things we're ready to talk about right now.
While it may be some time before we update it again, if you run into any issues, have feedback, or suggestions you want to make, our Discord is the best place to do so. We'll document them all for when we next work on the modelviewer.
Item Page Improvements
Elsewhere on the website, we continue to improve our item pages. Crafting information has now been split into its own tab where you can view the item's recipe, all of the requirements to craft said items, and any related items that use it as a crafting ingredient.

Item pages are a constant work in progress and we're always looking to add more missing information. If you notice something missing, chances are we're working on it, and we'll let you know when additional data goes live. Have suggestions? Let us know over on our Discord or on Twitter!
Discord News Webhook
If you missed the announcement a few weeks ago, we now have a news webhook for both Destiny 2 and FFXIV which will send alerts to any Discord server you want!
Installing the webhooks is super easy.
- Go to our Discord webhook page.
- Complete the ReCaptcha.
- Select "Add Webhook."
- Log into Discord.
- Choose which server you want to add it to.
- Choose which channel you want to add it to.
- Click "Continue."
- That's it!
Once you've done that, the next time we publish a new FFXIV or Destiny 2 news post it'll get pushed right to that channel for you to see!
