How to Get the Point-Contact Cannon Brace Exotic in Destiny 2

Avast Guardians, Season of Plunder is here! This space pirate-themed Destiny 2 season is all about crossing blades with Fallen House of Salvation, hunting for buried treasure, and working with everyone’s favorite scoundrel, the Drifter. Of course, there is a bunch of new loot to chase after including a whole suite of weapons that you can farm and craft. Along with all the new seasonal and world drops, there are also three exotic armor pieces to hunt for. One of these Destiny 2 exotics is the Point-Contact Cannon Brace gauntlets for Titans.

How to Get Point-Contact Cannon Brace

Similar to other seasonal exotic armor pieces these need to be unlocked in Legendary or Master Lost Sectors. A rotating activity, each day a new Lost Sector and exotic armor slot is chosen. Meaning that there will be days when only exotic chest pieces or helmets are rewarded at the end of this activity. A good tool for tracking what Lost Sector and exotic rewards are currently available is the website TodayInDestiny. Alternatively, you can just search each destination map for the Legendary Lost Sector icon (a purple shield) and highlight it to see what exotic archetype is being offered.

For the Point-Contact Cannon Brace, you’ll need to keep completing Legendary or Master Lost Sectors when exotic gauntlets are the reward. If you have every Titan exotic gauntlet but this one, the Point-Contact Cannon Brace will be guaranteed to drop when you earn an exotic in this activity. Keep in mind, that this may take multiple attempts to drop even if you have every other Titan exotic unlocked.

The Point-Contact Cannon Brace boasts the Hammer of the Gods perk. Upon defeating an enemy with the Thunderclap melee you will restore melee energy. Additionally, any enemies near you when you trigger Thunderclap will be struck with lightning strikes. If you are amplified the range of these lightning strikes will increase. If you’re looking to craft an Arc melee build for your Titan, this is certainly an exotic to consider!
