Destiny 2 Riiswalker God Roll Guide - PVE, PVP, & How to Get

The Riiswalker shotgun is better suited for PVP activities, and its god roll gives a big range boost.

Season of the Wish is upon us in Destiny 2! With it comes a slew of new weapons to collect and a whole heaping of reissued guns as well. Naturally, that means everyone is itching to get their hands on the best possible roll. But early on it can be really hard to know what will perform the best. In this guide, we tell you how to obtain Riiswalker and make some early god roll recommendations for the latest Destiny 2 shotgun.

We’ve teamed up with Stardust, one of the people behind Clarity - D2 Research, a Destiny 2 project which provides highly trusted explanations of perks, mods, and more for websites like Destiny Item Manager (DIM), Light.gg, Foundry, and more! With his extensive knowledge and experience studying weapons in depth for thousands of hours and keeping a close eye on the meta at all times at every level, he’s more than qualified to make these selections.

How to Obtain

You’ll be able to get the Riiswalker after completing Iron Banner matches and leveling up reputation ranks with Lord Saladin. You will get the shotgun as a reward for reaching Rank 7.

About Riiswalker

The Riiswalker is a Legendary Kinetic shotgun that has the Lightweight Frame archetype. This means that it will feature improved handling and, when equipped, will make Guardians move faster. It also possesses the Skulking Wolf origin trait that rewards final blows while health is low with an enhanced radar and it will remove you from the opposing radar.

Riiswalker PVE God Roll

We strongly recommend not using the Riiswalker for PVE since its intended purpose and trait pool are better built for PVP.

Riiswalker PVP God Roll

By equipping Corkscrew Rifling and Assault Mag we are improving the Riiswalker’s stability (both slots will increase it), range, handling, and an increased rate of fire to make it a perfect weapon for fast combat. Slideshot is perfect in the fourth slot for reloading the weapon’s magazine and boosting range and stability after sliding. Finally, Opening Shot will increase your chances of success in every PVP encounter by improving the accuracy and range of your opening shot.

Best PVP Perks by Column Number

  1. Corkscrew Rifling
  2. Assault Mag or Accurized Rounds
  3. Slideshot or Discord or maybe Slickdraw
  4. Opening Shot or Adagio
