The Wordle of the day returns again. Specifically, we’re talking about the puzzle for Jan. 18, 2023: another Wednesday to carry us through the week. We’ve got all the hints — plus the one and only answer — you need for today for puzzle #578. But let’s start with those hints you’re probably after! If you’re here having issues guessing the correct word, we’re also here to help as usual. In case you missed it, the New York Times made some changes to the rules of Wordle in 2022 as they established a full-time editor for the game. Words ending in things like “ES” should be out of the picture, for one, among a few other tweaks. You should probably keep that in mind as you play along!
