Emily's Daily Schedule in Stardew Valley for All Seasons

Where you can find Emily as she goes about her daily routine.

She cooks, she sews, she barbacks at the Stardrop Saloon, and she’s got an obnoxious sister. For those seeking to befriend Emily, understanding her daily routine is key. This concise guide will assist you in finding Emily throughout her daily schedule.

Where and When to Find Emily in Stardew Valley

Realistically, Emily is one of the easiest characters to pursue in Stardew Valley because she’s consistently one of the easiest to find. Almost every night, regardless of season or weather, you’ll find Emily behind the bar at the Stardrop Saloon helping Gus. She has one of the most predictable schedules of any character in the game, and it doesn't vary due to the season or her relationship level. Even if you marry her, Emily can still be found at the Saloon most nights.

In Stardew Valley, Emily bar-backs at the Stardrop Saloon every day from 3:30 to midnight.

Emily also loves Cloth, Wool, and easy-to-find gemstones like Amethyst and Topaz, so this is a low-impact relationship if you own a sheep or spend any time in the caves. Even better, at 2 hearts or higher, Emily may randomly send you Cloth or Wool in the mail, which makes that week’s relationship grind self-supporting.

The rewards for befriending Emily include the recipe for Salad at 3 hearts and the recipe for Red Plate at 7 hearts. If you marry her, she offers a quest at 14 hearts, “Errand for your Wife,” in which you can trade 200 Fiber to her in exchange for an exclusive outfit.

Emily’s Default Schedule

Once you’ve found or made your first piece of Cloth, Emily will show up on your doorstep the next morning to invite you to use the sewing machine in her living room. You can catch her at home most mornings in the house she shares with Haley on Willow Lane.

If nothing else is going on:

  • 9 AM – 3:30 PM: Emily is in her house, which is on the west end of Pelican Town next door to Jodi and Kent’s place.
  • 3:30 PM: Emily heads over to the Stardrop Saloon.
  • 12:30 AM: Emily finishes work and heads home for the night.

On Tuesdays:

  • 9 AM – 10 AM: Emily’s in her bedroom.
  • 10 AM – 4 PM: Emily participates in the weekly aerobics class at Pierre’s store, in the big common room.
  • 4 PM – 12:30 AM: Emily goes to work at the Saloon.

Naturally, these schedules are preempted by festival days.

In Stardew Valley, Emily accepts a gift that she loves.

Emily’s Holiday Activities

  • When and if you repair the Community Center, Emily spends her Friday afternoons hanging out in its Crafts Room.
  • If you get the buses running again, Emily leaves Pelican Town every Fall 15 at 10:30 AM to visit her friend Sandy, the shopkeeper at the Oasis. She returns to town at midnight and goes straight to bed.
  • Like every other villager in Pelican Town, Emily has an annual checkup with Harvey. In her case, it’s on Winter 11, so she’ll spend that day from 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM in the Clinic.

That’s really all there is to it. Emily is devoted to her job at the Stardrop Saloon, so finding her on almost any day of the year is as easy as hanging out at the bar. If you’re just trying to make a friend and/or get married as quickly as possible, Emily’s a solid pick.
