Units received.

No Man’s Sky is back with yet another update! The Outlaws Update is here and with it comes new ship types, improved space combat, smuggling, squadrons, and most importantly, new pirate-controlled systems. It hasn’t taken long for players to discover a new way to break the in-game economy with yet another infinite money and infinite nanites glitch. Whether you want to be a space capitalist or an illegal pirate, this No Man’s Sky guide will tell you how to print both and hit the cap in no time.

Infinite Money Glitch in No Man’s Sky

Update: As of April 19, 2022 this glitch has been patched. Sorry folks!

While this will surely be patched as soon as Hello Games can, it is currently possible to print an infinite amount of money. The process is easily available to anyone with a ship and takes next to no effort. The steps are simple:

  • Put a stack of items in your starship’s new cargo inventory.
  • Go to a trading post or space station.
  • Sell the stack of items.

The game will not remove the item from your inventory, allowing you to sell it again. Thanks to the relatively dynamic in-game economy, you won’t be printing money at an infinite pace, but you are free to do so for as long as you like.

Our full stack of nearly 10,000 Chlorine initially sold for about 6 million units before reaching the minimum price of about 1.2 million units. Even with that, selling a stack takes just a second or so, meaning you can easily print 100 million units with 80 or so short click and holds. Do it a thousand times and become a billionaire!

All of this means you’re in luck if you have something like a Stasis Device, Fusion Ignitor, or Quantum Processor. Trade items drop in value at a much lower rate, meaning you can continue to earn millions and millions of credits with each click for longer.

Infinite Nanites Glitch in No Man’s Sky

Update: As of April 19, 2022 this glitch has been patched. Sorry folks!

This is the same glitch as above, but with items that sell for Nanites. If you don’t have one of those, it’s a bit tougher to do this as you need to find a new Outlaw System. Just follow these steps:

  • Find an Outlaw System. These show up as Pirate Controlled on your galaxy map.
  • Land on the Outlaw Station.
  • If there is a Salvage Dealer, talk to them.
  • Buy an upgrade module and put it in your starship’s cargo inventory.
  • Talk to the Salvage Dealer and sell that upgrade back to them.

Unlike the Units economy, upgrade module sales for Nanites have no decreasing returns. If you can sell a module for 200 Nanite Clusters, it’ll continue to sell for that much for as long as you click. This is a super-easy way of unlocking everything there is to purchase with Nanites.

None of this is required, of course. For some people, glitches like this ruin the experience of finding more efficient ways of earning cash. For others, however, it’s an arbitrary limitation, blocking them from the experience they would rather hurry up and get to. There’s no chance Hello Games bans anyone for this, so it’s a risk-free thing to do. Just know that it will likely get patched within the next few days. We’ll update this guide when the method no longer works so that you don’t waste your time.
