The story of Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi and Final Fantasy XIV is still unfinished. The father of the franchise first started playing the game in late September, naming a Lalafell after himself. He then burned through Heavensward in two days, cleaned up Stormblood and Shadowbringers, and even finished Endwalker on January 5.
Sakaguchi could stop, but he won’t. After playing through all the expansions as a Paladin, he started the other side of the game as a Culinarian. Now he’s maxed out Weaver and decided to start his own in-game brand. Enter the magical clothing brand, SakaGucci.

The new fashion baron took the entire rollout of his brand pretty seriously. The first line was the Winter Sweater and Sakaguchi treated them as a limited edition item, making only ten sets. Three automatically went to friends, while the other seven went to random players. Sakaguchi said he asked the players not to resell the clothing.
The lucky recipients didn’t just get a random sweater though, they got an experience! Sakaguchi took a commemorative photo and even ran Titan with the crew. How many folks can say they played FFXIV in a sweater made by the guy who started the whole thing in the first place? In a following tweet, Sakaguchi said the next item would be the White Beret. Sadly, those of us on the Western side of things will never get a shot at a SakaGucci original.
その後、記念に、殴りすぎるとあっというまに終わってしまう解除な討伐へ。
sakaGUCCIに集まっていただきありがとうございました〜
次回は「ホワイトベレー」になります。

At the rate he’s going, Sakaguchi will have maxed out every job and unlocked every Relic weapon before the next expansion hits. We’ll keep an eye on his progress and let you know if anything else cool happens. In the meantime, if you’re looking to level up your own characters, you can take a look at our leveling guide and if you’re already maxed then our Endwalker gear guide will hook you up.
