If you’re a completionist, you’ll be happy to know that maxing out your Pokedex isn’t the only thing to do in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. Upon unlocking the Unown Dex, you’ll be asked to find 28 unique Unown scattered throughout Sinnoh. The Unown Dex gives you some cryptic hints on where to find them, but these can be a little challenging to figure out.
Catching Unown is a little different from other Pokemon. Despite their connections to Legendary Pokemon, Unown are much simpler to catch, often only requiring a single Poke Ball. You cannot battle Unown with your own Pokemon, but they can battle on your behalf once caught. Here’s a list on where to find every Unown in Arceus.
- Unown A – WITHIN THE SETTLEMENT WHERE TIME RULES – On top of a tent in Crimson Mirelands, Diamond Settlement.
- Unown B – TURN YOUR EYES UP AT THE VOLCANIC ISLAND – Near the Alpha Ninetails spawn in Cobalt Coastlands, Molten Arena.
- Unown C – LOOK TO THE RUINED PILLARS OF CELESTICA – On top of a rock formation in the western area of the Coronet Highlands, Celestic Ruins.
- Unown D – AMONG STUMPS AND CAMPFIRE ASHES IN FIELDS OF GOLD – Next to the campfire in Crimson Mirelands, First Camp.
- Unown E – A LONE TREE IN A POND IN THE GROVE – On the lone island, inside the tree in the Obsidian Fieldlands, Grueling Grove.
- Unown F – A STONY OUTCROP OVER POOLS OF MUD ON A MIGHTY MOUNTAIN – Among the rocks behind the Alpha Goodra in the Coronet Highlands, Ancient Quarry.
- Unown G – ATOP A WATERFALL OF OBSIDIAN – At the top of the waterfall in the Obsidian Fieldlands, Obsidian Falls.
- Unown H – A VILLAGE GATEWAY – Near the welcome sign at the entrance of Jubilife Village.
- Unown I – THE LAKE ISLAND WHERE EMOTION RESIDES – Behind the cave in the Obsidian Fieldlands, Lake Verity.
- Unown J – A NOOK WITHIN A QUARRY – Coronet Highlands, Ancient Quarry.
- Unown K – WHERE STONES PILE HIGH AMID FOGBOUND RUINS – Near the cliff, on top of a rock formation in the Crimson Mirelands, Shrouded Ruins.
- Unown L – AN IMPASSE IN A CAVE ADORNED BY TWIN FALLS – Hidden behind a smashable rock in the Coronet Highlands, Wayward Cave.
- Unown M – A TREE FELLED ON SLUDGE – On top of a fallen tree in the Crimson Mirelands, Sludge Mound.
- Unown N – TWO HORNS RISING FROM THE SEA – On top of the eastern spike near the camp in the Cobalt Coastlands, Sands Reach.
- Unown O – THREE PILLARS IN A WORLD OF ICE – On top of a pillar in the Alpha Froslass room, located in the underground cave in the Alabaster Icelands, Avalanche Slopes.
- Unown P – AMONG FLOWERS AT THE SPRING WHERE FAIRIES DWELL – Coronet Highlands, Fabled Spring.
- Unown Q – TWIN TREES AT THE SPRING BY THE SEA – Outside, next to the entrance by the trees in the Cobalt Coastlands, Turnback Cave.
- Unown R – BY THE GRAVE UPON THE CAPE – At the end, past the grave in the Cobalt Coastlands, Veilstone Cape.
- Unown S – WHERE STICK AND LOG DAM THE RIVER – In the Obsidian Fieldlands near the Alpha Bibarel encounter on top of the dam.
- Unown T – GAZE DOWN FROM ATOP THE GREATEST GLACIAL LEGACY – Look down below from the top of the iceberg in the Alabaster Icelands, Avalugg’s Legacy.
- Unown U – THE UNUSUAL STONE STARING OUT ACROSS THE SNOWFIELDS – Behind the statue on top of the waterfall in the Alabaster Icelands, Heart’s Crag.
- Unown V – A WITHERED TREE IN THE SPRAWLING RED SWAMP – Hanging out on a tree in the Crimson Mirelands, Scarlet Bog.
- Unown W – THE LEFT EYE ATOP THE VILLAGE – Found in the left eye of one of the Magikarp Statues on top of the main building in Jubilife Village.
- Unown X – SCALE THE GRAND TREE – In Grand Tree Arena, hidden on top of the tree in the Obsidian Fieldlands, Obsidian Falls.
- Unown Y – SCALE THE FROZEN FALLS – On top of the frozen waterfall in the Alabaster Icelands, Icebound Falls.
- Unown Z – A TIMEWORN SHIP ON A SANDY SHORE – In Cobalt Coastlands ear second camp, on top of the abandoned ship.
- Unown ! – A DEAD TREE BY THE HOT SPRING – In Alabaster Icelands, Snowfall Hot Spring on top of the dead tree.
- Unown ? – WHERE THINGS HANG TO DRY AT LIVING QUARTERS – Hidden in Jubilife Village On the clothesline behind the houses.
