It’s the spookiest time of the year and developer Infinity Ward is trying to get Call of Duty players in the mood to terrifying their opponents. Following an update released today, two new skin packs were leaked on Twitter showcasing some seriously horrifying cosmetic packs. Bringing horror icons from the Saw and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, players will soon be able to dress up as Leatherface or Billy the Puppet. Along with these outfits, there are a host of additional items including weapon skins, icons, and even a unique melee weapon tied to each character. At the time of writing this, these skins are not available but are destined to release later this month.
That being said, if you are looking to add these skin packs to your collection and haunt players while running around Warzone’s map.
How to Unlock the Texas Chainsaw Massacre & Saw Packs
In order to unlock these cosmetic packs, you will need to spend real-world money to purchase COD Points. Each pack costs 2,400 COD Points, which comes out to $40 USD total if you want both of them. Needless to say, this is a lot of money to spend on just cosmetic options even if you’re a superfan of these horror properties. At the time of writing this, there has been no word if you can earn these cosmetic packs in-game, so expect to shell out a lot a ton of money if you want to run around as Leatherface. That being said, you can alleviate some of the financial burden by reaching level 98 on the battle pass.
If you save all the COD Points you earn climb up the pass, you’ll earn a total of 1,300 COD Points for free. This means you’ll need to only spend $10 USD to purchase one of these packs. Again, this isn’t ideal but it will make the price a little more reasonable if you’ve been climbing up the ranks or saving your points until now. Below is a complete list of each item included in the packs.
