MTG Arena Codes Guide - January 2020 Promo Codes

It’s easy to overlook, but you can redeem promo codes for MTG Arena through the game’s Store tab. There are a variety of codes available and some don’t even require a purchase on your part. Free packs, card sleeves, card styles, and full decks can be obtained with the following MTG Arena codes.

How to Redeem Codes

To redeem an MTG Arena promo code, simply navigate to the Store tab and type it into the top right of the screen. You’ll see a info box that says “Redeem Code.” Type or Copy and Paste it in here and hit enter to redeem.

Card Style Codes

Card styles are visual upgrades for your MTG cards. They apply a parallax effect to the card art, giving it the appearance of depth. While cool, they have no affect on gameplay. These codes do not give you any copies of the cards. These codes expire on January 1, 2023 at 7 AM PST.

Card Codes

Sometimes Wizards of the Coasts gives out random cards of a specific rarity!

• MythicMagic: Redeemds for three randomized Mythic Rare cards! One each from WAR, RNA, and GRN. (Expires July 2, 2019)

Pack Codes

With the last few expansions, Wizards of the Coast has included an MTG Arena promo card in every physical MTG pack. These codes are not unique and can thankfully be shared for all. Redeem them for a trio of packs from that expansion.

Twitch Prime Promotions

Wizards of the Coast has teamed up with Twitch for some Twitch Prime promos. For the new War of the Spark expansion they’re giving away codes for a 60-card Boros Legion deck. Note that it doesn’t actually have any new War of the Spark cards though. These promo codes are unique and require an active Twitch Prime subscription. The codes expire on July 25, 2019 at 7AM PT.

For Guilds of Ravnica, purchase the Ral Zarek or Vraska Planeswalker decks to receive a unique code that gives you access to that Planeswalker deck in Magic: The Gathering Arena. (Expires July 1, 2020)

For Ravnica Allegiance purchase any Planeswalker deck to receive a unique code that gives you access to that Planeswalker deck in Magic: The Gathering Arena. (Expires July 1, 2020)

Expired Codes

The GAMEAWARDS code expired December 16, 2018 at 11 AM PST.

The Game Awards Promo code redeemed for one Esports Starter Kit in Magic: The Gathering Arena. Each Esports Starter Kit contained 25 cards which were added to your collection.
