Genshin Impact Daily Check In Guide - How to Get Daily Rewards

Feel free to check out, folks.

Daily check in rewards are a popular feature of nearly every gacha game in existence. It may come as a surprise to you then, that Genshin Impact didn’t launch with anything other than the occasional log in event which was similar, but limited to seven days over a period of about a month. These were nice, but MiHoYo is pretty stingy when it comes to passive Primogems income so many were hopeful that a daily check in system would help rectify that.

There’s good news and bad news though. Good news? A check in system has been implemented. Bad news? It’s through a website, not the game itself, and it only rewards 60 Primogems in an entire month. If you want to get all of the other free rewards though, here’s how.

Genshin Impact Daily Check In System

To start, you need to go to the Genshin Impact community site known as HoyoLab. At the top right corner, you’ll see the circular icon above that we’ve highlighted. Click on this and sign in to your Genshin Impact account. You’ll need to complete a puzzle to prove that you aren’t a robot.

After that you can access the check in page. As a warning, if you click on your profile icon the site will extend a drop down menu. One of the options here is Check In. This is a different check in which provides website XP. This will not get you the daily check in rewards. Instead you need to look down the page and find another Check In option on the right side of the screen just past the side bar.

A list of all the Genshin Impact daily check in rewards

Current Daily Check In Rewards

If you log in every day of the month you’ll have earned:

  • 60 Primogems
  • 3 Eggs, Fowl, Meat, and Fish
  • 67,000 Mora
  • 16 Fine Enhancement Ore (32,000 XP)
  • 26 Adventurer Writs (52,000 XP)
  • 5 Hero’s Writs (100,000 XP)

It’s honestly not much. You can earn 60 Primogems doing one day’s worth of daily commissions. If you’ve played all that much, anything less than the rarest of XP materials is basically worth nothing. In short, this is a bunch of materials that are barely worth the effort of checking in every day. You’re almost better off taking those ten minutes and actually playing the game.

Is Genshin Impact Really That Stingy?

It’s certainly up there. How generous the daily check in rewards are does vary from gacha game to gacha game. Exos Heroes for example, provides a bunch of materials and gives a total of 55 summons per month. King’s Raid doesn’t have character summons and instead focuses on weapons. It only provides 1500 Rubies (its premium currency) per month, but does provide summons in a plethora of other ways. Epic Seven gives out about 25 summons per month including a few in the more limited banners.

All of this is to say, yes, Genshin Impact is pretty stingy when it comes to free to play players. That said, it’s also missing a lot of the traditional spammy advertisements and features a vast open world that you can’t just auto battle. Feel free to draw your own conclusions, but the community as a whole has been asking for more generous rewards for some time.
